About me

More than 7 years ago, at the beginning of my academic career, I have been invited by Sir Alan P. France to join the Westminster International University as a Lecturer and a Module Leader in the HRM area. Having more than 4 years of administrative experience in course leading, I have been appointed as Acting Course Leader for Business Administration enhancing students' learning experience following Quality Assurance at the university. Providing a necessary advisory role as a supervisor for level 6 BA students, I also do experiential research in the Education field within the university and research in the Aviation management field for Uzbekistan Airways. My research interests include Airline Management/Marketing, the Business continuity model as well as social psychology, and stress management. I was a runner-up of the Teaching and Learning Symposium 2017 with the 2-years of research in the education field presenting "Authentic assignment in work-based learning". Besides research, I was contributing to Faculty development by participating in negotiations on building partnerships with Novosibirsk State University (Russia). For now, I am specializing in Strategic Management, Service Marketing, and Tourism Management, as well as teaching Negotiations to upper-level students at WIUT.

Although taking into consideration my background in the aviation industry and MSc in Air Transport Planning and Management (Merit) from the University of Westminster (UK), I joined Uzbekistan Airways in providing time-to-time consultations in Marketing and Strategic Development activities and projects. My Thesis concerned the role of Strategic Cargo Airport Alliances in the development of Navoi Cargo Hub located in the heart of the Central Asian (CA) region. The research discovers the possible impact on EU-Asia freight logistics if Navoi Airport will be reviewed as a stop-and-go point overtaking Novosibirsk (Russia) and Abu Dhabi (UAE) - North and South routes respectively. My wide knowledge of Russian and CA aviation markets, as well as extensive analytical skills, provided me with significant support while taking over projects for Uzbekistan Airways. My recent consultancy period at JSC Uzbekistan Airports allowed me to contribute to the development of the regional airports' renovation project. The practical application of the knowledge and skills makes my academic experience in both fields even more viable.

In 2021 I got admitted to my second Master's degree program in Learning and Teaching at Westminster International University in Tashkent.

Besides MALT course, I am also pursuing two PhDs at the moment:

* PhD in Business Administration and Management at the University of Pisa

* PhD in Economics (in IT sphere) at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation

Yours,

Tim
